2020-2021 season
CRC and Speedskills Hockey Clinics begin September 14
NYSAHA Practices T.B.D
Objective – To balance home and away contests while scheduling competitive games. This will minimize travel costs as well as having a 3:1 ratio of practices to games.
Travel Season and Schedule:
Game limit guidelines per level per season:
Fall sport seasons take the precedence over the beginning of hockey season. Parents should manage participation accordingly and work with coaches.
Guidelines for athletes:
Tournaments or overnight Events:
School attendance is important – Therefore scheduling efforts will be made to eliminate the need for athletes to be absent from school.
Mite and Initiation programs: Begins October 8th
Move Up Policy- If a first- year player shows exceptional skills he will be moved to advanced second year age division.
All Mite parents must register players by October 5 thru www.fingerlakeshockey.com prior to entering the ice surface. NO Exceptions. All aspects of registration including payment must be completed by this time.

Travel Team Tryouts:
Have been suspended for this season due to Covid-19. On ice evaluations for team placement will be conducted once NYSAHA grants permission for associations to commence the season.
All Travel Teams must register on Line with payment in Full by 9/5/2020 thru www.fingerlakeshockey.com
Travel teams: (four home ice sessions every week)
Free clinics thru Community Recreational Center and Speed skills Hockey begin September 14th.
Selection Process and announcement of Travel teams:
Covid -19 has altered much of our process of travel team selections. Once approved by NYSAHA our association will conduct on ice evaluation determining the placement of players to rosters of either tournament bound or non- tournament bound travel teams. There are no cuts thru this process, by registration you are confirmed a outlaw player for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.
Until on ice evaluations and practices are permitted by NYSAHA players may participate in free hockey clinics provided by Community Recreational Center and Speed skills Hockey. We will keep you informed of when NYSAHA permits on ice evaluations and practices.
At completion of on ice evaluations and team placements players will be asked to sign the NYS player commitment document.

Squirt birth year 2010- 2011 - $1425.00 is due 9/5 applied membership fee
Pee Wee Birth Year 2008-2009 - $1425.00 is due 9/5 applied membership fee
Bantam Birth Year 2006-2007 - $1425.00 is due 9/5 applied membership fee
Players selected for this team will be posted on the www.fingerlakeshockey.com
All players must sign Association / Player Commitment form at the end of on ice evaluations –

Friday practice and Sunday home games are subject to College reservations of Ithaca College and Cornell University Club hockey these will be random conflicts during the season.
